Lowered Down By Rachel L

People arrive wearing black clothing

They stare silently at the grave

Teardrops roll down their faces

And mascara runs down

Loving prayers are said

One last goodbye

The casket

Lowered

Down

yay!!! I love your poem. It's emolicious :) Hahaha. The theme is to spend time with the ones you love, before they pass away. The mood is sad, and depressing. An intrusive element would be a cry for attention because of lonesomeness. The words are about someone losing another that they love. I liked your poem a lot; especially the part about the mascara running...yup..that was soooo your idea.... :D
